About Me

Name: Amy Petersen
Degree: Masters of Social Work, LCSW
Languages spoken: English, French

I work with clients who are in pivotal moments of their lives and come alongside them to help them navigate and grow through the unique challenges they are facing. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, burnout, workplace trauma, and third culture kid/cross-cultural issues.

My background:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and completed my degree at Columbia University, with a focus on clinical social work and international social welfare. I have had my practice since 2018 and have spent a decade working in the mental health field - from crisis mental health settings, to outpatient practices, to running clinical teams and programs across Florida, New York, and internationally.

Facts about me:
•  I am a TCK (Third Culture Kid): I grew up in France until I was 18, but am American by passport.
•  I love being able to see each of my clients through seasons of growth.
